Zara is at it again. First, they ripped off the Balencia Triple S sneaker and now they’ve copied the Balenciaga Speed Trainer. I can’t…but then again, I can.
We all know that Zara is one of the retail stores to hit up if you want to look like you just walked off any luxury designer’s runway. So, I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that the fashion brand has ripped Balenciaga off, yet again. This time, they had their eyes on the Speed Trainer sneaker. I actually saw a guy wearing these in Downtown Los Angeles last night. The originals retail for $690.
Zara’s version on the other hand cost $89.90. Okay, I’m here for that price.
The laceless high top sneaker is made of a technical fabric and sits on two split soles with a plastic arch center. All it’s missing is the Balenciaga logo, basically.
I can do a knock-off but not an obvious one. Wearing this sneaker WITHOUT the Balenciaga logo would be like social suicide. I say that because those people that paid $690 would totally know you’re wearing a fake version; which is exactly how I feel when I see people wearing Yeezy sneakers. *insert Kanye shrug*
