Linkin Park met up with actor Ken Jeong to film an episode of Carpool Kareoke just one week before lead singer, Chester Bennington, took his life. Watch the episode inside.
I don’t think I have to remind you guys how much of a fan I was and still am of Linkin Park. Shocked doesn’t come close to what I felt when I heard Chester Bennington hung himself. But, his legacy lives on in his music and this episode of Carpool Kareoke that he shot just days before he passed. The rock band joined comedy actor Ken Jeong, singing their hits and Chester even taught Ken how to ‘screen’ ie scene scream.
“Dude, you don’t realize, I realize I was driving without my hands for like half that ride, because we were rocking.” Bennington said to Jeong while listening to his song “Numb.” Other tunes they kareoke’d to include Outkast’s “Hey Ya,” and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Under the Bridge.”
Chester Bennington died July 20th. The episode premieres next week.
