You either stayed home last night or set your DVR to watch Beyoncé’s “Life Is But A Dream” documentary on HBO. During the one hour and a half spectacle, Mrs. Carter vaguely opened up about being a wife and mother. In fact, it wasn’t until the last 10 minutes of the film that fans were able to get a full glimpse of her one-year old daughter, Blue Ivy.
I will say that after watching “Life Is But A Dream” I can officially admit…Beyoncé gave birth to her child.
Watch the documentary and read more of my opinion inside.
Honestly, there was too much footage of past performances. We already know that Beyoncé puts on a great show. “Life Is But A Dream” was a chance for fans to really see another side of the R&B diva that we’ve never seen before; and I’m not just talking awkward stares into a MacBook camera. Of course, being that the documentary was directed and produced by Beyoncé, is no surprise that we weren’t allowed to see her bleed.
Jay-Z didn’t make a peep, we were shown performance footage from two years ago and yeah..it was just disappointing.
After the 1 hour and 25 minutes were over I had one question: What was the point of this documentary?
Tattlers, can you help me out here?
