The Super Nintendo, the second edition of the Nintendo, has descreased in size and getting released again for those who aren’t ’80s babies like myself. I still haven’t gotten my hands on the re-release of the original Nintendo. Maybe I’ll have better luck with this one. Details inside.
High Snobiety reports the Super Nintendo will come packaged with 21 games. Those include: Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World and Star Fox 2 to name a few.
“While many people from around the world consider the Super NES to be one of the greatest video game systems ever made, many of our younger fans never had a chance to play it.” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
And he is right, but with the super clear and vibrant graphics used in today’s video games, I’m not sure how enticed millenials will be to play the Super Nintendo. I enjoyed playing it when I was younger because that’s all there was to choose from. If they were to sell that now against the Playstation 4, the latter will definitely be the winner.
The Super Nintendo hits stores September 29th for $79.99. Will you scoop one up?
