The famed jewelry brand has added a new product to their “Everyday Objects” series and you’ll never guess what it is. Why? Well, probably because no one uses this object everyday, if at all. Tiffany and Co. is selling a tin can, yes, a tin can for $1K. I wish I was joking but I am not. Even if I had $1K to throw away, I wouldn’t spend it on a tin can. WTH.

Fortune reports that these so-called “Everyday Objects” are supposed to “transform utilitarian items into handcrafted works of art.” How is a tin can a work of art?

Tiffany and Co. describes the tin can as “a classic tin can is upgraded in sterling silver and shining vermeil.” If that weren’t enough, you can even get it engraved for an additional $25 for standard engaging or $45 for hand engaging. Sigh. Other odd and unnecessary items in the collection include a $500 desk puzzle, a bird’s nest with porcelain eggs for $10K and a sterling silver paper plate for $950.

You guys know how I feel about this, so my question is: Would you buy it?
