Tamera Mowry and her twin sister, Tia are two child stars that still have an active career in Hollywood. And who do they thank for that? Their parents. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Tamera revealed how her parents kept her grounded and how parent's of today's child stars are not, saying, "They (parents today) want to be their best friends/groupies. They forget that they are kids. It doesn't matter how much money they have, it doesn't mean you stop parenting your child." Tamara, a co-host on the new daytime talk show The Real, said that her parents showed her discipline during her career as a young actress, "We have someone that can keep us accountable." Tamera and Tia were not allowed to access the money they received from starring in the Disney hit show, Sister Sister until they were 18 years-old.
