Tamar Braxton has turned over a new leaf and not starting over, but moving forward. Prepare to see the 40 year-old diva unlike you’ve ever seen her before: sexy…and single.
My eyes were shocked when I saw the Love & War singer embracing her inner-diva for Vulkan magazine. It’s her first interview since filing for divorce from Vincent Herbert; and from what I’ve read, she’s ready to move on and move forward.
You have to respect and love yourself first before somebody else can love and respect you as well. Don’t forget that the things you put out there are the things you will get back – if you put positivity out, you will get positivity. If you put negativity out, you will get negativity. That’s it, that’s all I got.
Sound advice. Aside from being newly single, Tamar Braxton has joined the RnB group Xscape on their revival tour. “Xscape reached out to my agent and said they got to have me on their tour. At that time I was thinking about doing a Bluebird of Happiness tour but they called a couple of times and and because they came to me with the idea of making it a femaleempowerment tour, I was down. It was so beautiful.” she said.
RnB singer, Monica, has also joined the tour. Tamar said that fans will experience 30 minutes of her “as an artist” and experience her journey “from start to finish. ” I’m here for it. “Just expect to have the ultimate Tamartian experience. “she added.
I finally saw her perform live, while attending this year’s BET Soul Train Awards and let me tell you, her voice is amazing. She sung her hit song “Blind” and I think because it was her first performance since filing for divorce, it was a very emotional one. Tamar received a standing ovation.
Getting tickets to the Xscape concert is probably a good idea, since she has no plans to record another album. “I do have two other shows in production. I’m not saying that I’m never going to do another album but as for right now, this feels right and until I have something else to say I am not going to do another one.”
