Lena Dunham To Create Comedic Series About Bergdorf Goodman’s Personal Shopper Betty Halbreich


Writer, actress and author Lena Dunham is definitely on a role when it comes to leaving a lasting impression in Hollywood. After winning two Golden Globes for her work on the hit HBO series, GIRLS, Dunham is staying hard at work with another upcoming HBO series about Bergdorf Goodman personal shopper Betty Halbreich.

Dunham will turn Halbreich’s upcoming memoir, All Dressed Up And Everywhere To Go, into an HBO comedy series. Halbreich has left her print in the fashion industry as stylist, dresser, and friend to Hollywood actresses such as Meryl Streep and Sarah Jessica Parker.

She’s an honest, funny, talented and hard working woman. Now if Dunham and GIRLS co-producer, Jenni Konner, can decide who the perfect actress is to play the role of Betty Halbreich.
