"I Love Food Way too Much to Starve Myself" Padma Lakshmi Unveils her Healthy Diet Secrets in New Issue of Fitness Magazine

Padma Lakshmi may have jumped 10 sizes while pregnant with her daughter, but thanks to her clean-eating lifestyle and love for exercise, she’s back down to a sexy size four.

In the new issue of Fitness magazine, the gorgeous brunette reveals why she will never be skinny saying,

Men don’t want skinny girls. I love food way too much to starve myself just to look good. I will put in the work at the gym so I can enjoy what I eat

 

Although the gorgeous brunette made it clear that she eats whatever she wants, when she actually lists what she does herself to eat, I can’t find anything that would make her gain weight!

“I follow a clean diet: no meats, no sweets, no alcohol, no cheese, no fried food, no wheat.”

She said she won’t starve herself but it sounds like she is.

Is it just me or did Padma just cover all of the food groups?

I bet if we all didn’t consume meat, cheese, alcohol or fried foods we wouldn’t have to work-out.

 

The single mother also shared that her exercise routine includes climbing stair, boxing and even jump roping in between filming episodes of Top Chef.

“It’s a great way to squeeze in a quick work-out and get your heart rate up when you don’t have time to go to the gym.”

Season 11 of Top Chef premieres on the Food Network on October 2nd.
