It will be a sad day for us fans of the infamous paper company Dunder Mifflin-Sabre, when the cast of the hit NBC comedy, The Office will say their final goodbye after nine hilarious seasons.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that the one hour finale will air on May 16th, at 9 p.m.
Executive producer, Greg Daniels, told the press at the TV Critics Association tour that Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak could make a cameo and someone on the show will get fired.
For those hoping that Steve Carell will make one last appearance…stop hoping,
“He left in the way that he wanted to leave, and he and Greg talked about it, I don’t think he will [return]. There’s maybe a littler Hail Mary pass on a cameo, but I think the decision would be compromising his schedule,” said NBC chairman Robert Greenblatt.
At least Dwight K. Schrute will get a spin-off show with his cousin Moses.
